Hey y’all we have one more week left for our spring shares. Then we will have a one week break (to let the garden catch up ) After that summer shares will start up on the 9th of June. Be sure to mark your calanders if you are signed up for that one.
For shares this week we have a few of the same and some new fun (possibly strange) foods for you to try.
Celery
Kale
Lettuce
Garlic
Parsnips
Green onions
Black radishes
Red radish
moongra or mogri also know as radish pods ( they are pleasantly crunchy)
Morning y’all! Its the first day of the whole week that is hasn’t been windy, how great is that? makes me want to go out and weed the garden or plant something. Ok just be outside in general with my cute little garden hat, racer back tank top ( gotta work on my non existent tan some how) and some warm garden soil to play in. Maybe I can turn my dead dirt front yard from a construction zone into a garden oasis like at Ali’s.
Shares this week have so many fun new foods and the fridge is busting at the seems! So bring an extra big bag to get some more yumminess while we got it.
This is our last week of shares ( except for the 2 week extension for those of you who bought in to that). It’s been a blast and a half to see you all and hear the excitement when you pick up your basket.
We will still have lots of produce (at least until we freeze hard, then things will slow down a bit) so be sure to swing by and check out the cold room often.
For shares we are channeling our inner Christmas spirit (like the big box stores do about this time of year hahaha. ) and going with a a color theme of red green and yellow. Really….that wasn’t planned. it’s just was a happy accident.
Broccoli
Sweet potatoes
Yukon gold or red potatoes
Spinach
Pomegranates
Shallot
Parsnips
Cantaloupe – let it sit on the counter for a few days to finish ripening. They got picked to early because of the frost)
Kombucha squash -you can pick either sunrise red or green.
And as always PLEASE PLEASE take a big bag of peppers. we are drowning in them!
Thank you for supporting us and our farm
Lots of love and happy vibes Ali, Kira and Chelsea

Fall is almost upon us. That rain storm we had on Tuesday night just put that chill and feel in the air of pumpkins, fall gardens and sweater weathers….. then we have today, where it’s shorts, tees and sandals again.😐 ah well summer can last a few more days I guess.
On to the real reason for today’s blog. BASKETS!!! Oh my lanta! is it a full Basket this week and I really hope you you love a variety of peppers because there is ton today!
Peaches
Pears
Tomato

A large variety of peppers both warm and sweet. like jalapeño, wax peppers, Anaheim’s, green bells, and I’m sure so others (but since I already put them in the basket I can’t for the life of me remember what they are with out unloading one or two baskets) it will just have to be a surprise. All of them will be wonderful for roasting though.
REMINDER PICK UP FOR SHARES NEXT WEEK IS ON WEDNESDAY NOT THURSDAY!
This is it, the last week of shares for summer. It has been a blast putting baskets together for you this season. We love having you come and the happiness you show when you find a favorite treasure in your basket. Hopefully you all enjoyed what the garden gave us this year. Thank you for supporting us and our pursuit to grow good food.
Just a reminder, for those of you that have signed up for fall shares. They will start up in 2 weeks (August 26) so be sure to mark your calendar.
We have SO many tomatoes in the store right now we are out of room. Not to mention what is still in the garden. So…. If your looking for something fun to do this weekend I really recommend you try bottling some tomatoes or making tomato sauce or even just eat them for dinner. You know, slice em, dust with a little salt and pepper and sprinkle with layer of mozzarella cheese add a few ribbons of basil, Mmmm!
Now for the real reason you came here…. Shares.
We are trying something a little new today. Kind of an experiment you could say.
We have baskets for you still and they have:
Armenian cucumber
Slicing cucumber
Baby potatoes
Green beans
Tomatoes (of course)
Peaches
Cherry tomatoes
Peppers
Now for the experiment part. We have the extras box out, and you get to pick out 2 things to finish off your basket. We didn’t have enough of one thing to make it fair so we are going to let you decide what is fair to you.
Oh! Those thunderstorms that have come in have been incredible to watch! I feel a little guilty ( just because he has to get up early for work) but I made my husband go for a walk with me at midnight the first night it rained just so I could enjoy it a little longer. And last nights storm I put off doing my animal chores when I usually do them just so I could be out there watching the lighting spiderweb across the sky.
But back to the real reason you came to the blog today. Your shares! Man oh man they are pretty today. And my son says the food is delicious ( he may or may not be ready for lunch right now).
Squash
Cucumbers
Beans
Beets
Eggplants
Tomatoes
+ and very full extras basket. Please be mindful of others and only take what you will use.
We hope you all are staying cool during the heatwave and we look forward to seeing you today
